Our therapy options include:
- Underwater treadmill therapy: Underwater treadmill therapy provides gentle, low-impact exercise that supports joint mobility, builds muscle, and aids in weight loss—all while reducing stress on the joints. The buoyancy of the water allows pets to move freely and comfortably, improving range of motion and endurance while minimizing pain and inflammation. This therapy benefits pets recovering from injury or surgery, managing arthritis, or addressing a variety of mobility or comfort issues.
- Customized exercise programs: Every pet’s journey to recovery is unique. Our customized exercise programs are thoughtfully designed to strengthen muscles, improve balance, and restore confidence in movement. Exercises may include controlled walking, balance work, core strengthening, and stretching—each chosen to meet your pet’s specific goals. Our team carefully monitors progress, ensuring that exercises are both safe and effective as your pet regains strength and stability. To support continued progress, we’ll also provide a personalized plan for you to continue exercises at home, helping your pet stay strong and confident between visits.
- Shockwave Therapy: Shockwave therapy uses pulses of high-energy sound waves to stimulate the body’s natural healing response. This non-invasive treatment can relieve pain, reduce inflammation, and encourage tissue repair in both chronic and acute orthopedic conditions. It is particularly beneficial for tendon and ligament injuries, non-healing fractures, hip and elbow dysplasia, and other musculoskeletal concerns. Many pets experience noticeable improvement in comfort and mobility after just a few sessions.
- Cold Laser Therapy (K-Laser): Cold Laser Therapy—also known as Therapeutic Laser or K-Laser—is one of the most effective and versatile tools in modern veterinary rehabilitation. This non-invasive, pain-free, and drug-free treatment uses concentrated light energy to stimulate natural cellular repair and improve blood circulation.
Laser therapy reduces inflammation, alleviates pain, and accelerates recovery from injuries, arthritis, or general muscle soreness. Our Class IV K-Laser is one of the most advanced available, offering customized treatment settings for dogs, cats, and even exotic pets. It’s a gentle, proven way to enhance healing and restore comfort for a wide range of conditions. - Chiropractic Care: Veterinary chiropractic care focuses on restoring alignment, flexibility, and balance within the body. Through gentle, hands-on adjustments, chiropractic therapy can improve mobility, enhance nervous system function, and help alleviate discomfort caused by misalignment or compensatory movement patterns.
Many pets benefit from chiropractic care as part of a broader rehabilitation plan—especially those recovering from injury, managing arthritis, or experiencing changes in gait or posture. - Nutritional Therapy: Nutrition plays a vital role in healing, recovery, and overall health. Our team provides customized nutritional support to help pets achieve and maintain a healthy weight, manage chronic conditions, and promote overall wellness. For pets struggling with obesity, joint pain, or slow healing, a carefully designed nutrition plan can make a significant difference in their comfort and mobility. We offer guidance on therapeutic diets, supplements, and nutraceuticals to complement each pet’s physical therapy plan. With easy ordering and home delivery available through our online pharmacy!
What to expect at the start of your journey:
Every pet’s journey begins with a comprehensive consultation. During your pet’s visit, Dr. Wolfe and the team will review their medical history, perform a physical assessment, and discuss your goals for their comfort and mobility. From there, we’ll design a tailored therapy plan focused on improving strength, reducing pain, and enhancing quality of life.
As your pet progresses, we’ll adjust their plan as needed and keep you informed every step of the way. Our goal is to make every session positive, encouraging, and rewarding! Going to Physical Therapy and Rehab should be a happy experience!
